Ricky Burrus Ride

Burrus Ride Postcard v1-frontThe Ricky Burrus Veteran’s Memorial Ride was started in 2014, named after one of our charter members we lost the year prior. Though this event is in the namesake of our fallen brother, it’s purpose is to honor all of our fallen brothers and sisters, those who are serving, who have served and all who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms and our great country. These are our true heroes and it’s our mission to bring awareness to the issues our military and veterans face as well as express our gratitude for the sacrifices they make for all of us.

This will be our 3rd year and hope its our best year yet. It’s a day of remembrance, honor and gratitude expressed through our love of riding. We start our day with a little chow, veteran shared experiences and our appreciation to our country. We take off on our ride, visiting 5 veteran memorial sites in Ventura County, honoring a veteran on each site. We finish where we started for food, live music, raffle and auction. It’s truly a great day for all of us to share our common belief of Land of the Free, Home of the Brave.

We thank you for contributing to Rolling Thunder® CA-1 and being a part of our ride.
